This book does not tell you much that you can’t find with a good google search. All this book features is a compilation of facts and figures that are available on each law school’s website and for free on the U.S. News website. Don’t waste your money. Spend some time on the internet, and you can find more current information for free.

While this, the newest edition, has the most recent statistics and rankings available for US law schools, it really isn’t as helpful as the 2nd edition. My friend had the older one, which has more detail about the individual schools and the special programs they offer. For some reason, those details were pretty much cut out of the 3rd edition. I ended up buying a used copy of the second edition, too. The 3rd edition is great if you just want numbers, but if you want to use the book as an aid in choosing schools to apply to, I would buy the 2nd edition also.
