I didn’t know how to read before I read this book. It is so frustrating that you can go through so much school and never have anyone sit down and discuss the proper techniques of reading with you. The ideas in this book should be taught to American students every three years or so. I understand anything I read 1000% better after having read this book. Thanks be to the author for this sorely needed information!!!

I just bought this book about 3 weeks ago, and from the time that I opened the book, I could not stop reading it. The format in which the book is laid out makes it very easy for a person to learn the tips to increase their understanding of the cases they read, but also increase the speed in which they are able to read.
I am a legal studies major, preparing for law school, and this book is one that I will definitely reference to if I find myselfing needing to be refreshed.

If you’ve already finished your first year of law school (and performed well) this book is unnecessary to read. If you are an incoming 1L and are looking for a book to get you acquainted with what to expect in law school this book will help you. It is a good read for anybody coming into law school. It will help you succeed in your first year and your entire law education.
