If your goal is to build great client relationships as a trusted partner (giving you long lasting, challenging, profitable good work) then Sobel has written the book for you. The author was a senior VP with Cap Gemini and wrote previously Making Rain, and Clients for Life both of which are also excellent sources for the service professional. There is too much in the book to summarize in this review – but he has lotsof great information at [...]. He is a good clear writer and this is a book to read a few times – once to glean and then again to savour. He could be a good example for top producer salespeople anywhere.

Andrew Sobel has hit the mark once again.

Every professional service provider understands the importance of strong client relationships, but Sobel offers ten innovative strategies to take those relationships to the next level. At the core of Sobel’s advice is the imperative to create an “All for One” culture that allows a firm to select, nurture, and sustain large-scale client partnerships.

What’s compelling about this book is that Sobel goes beyond what the individual professional must do to build long-term, profitable client partnerships. He also offers specific advice to firm leaders on creating the environment that aligns the organization around the goal of creating those client partnerships.

By offering guidance to individual professionals and firm executives, Sobel lays out a comprehensive framework for firm success. This is a must-read for every professional service provider.

In All for One, Andrew Sobel has raised the bar for professionals by redefining what it means to have great client relationships. This book makes it clear that even in strong, client-focused cultures, there is more you can do to connect and be the first one they consult when they face a challenge.

Sobel provides a step by step guide to creating deep, broad, enduring partnerships with clients that will transform your organization, allowing you to grow and be profitable in even challenging times. If you’ve read Andrew’s oustanding first book, Clients for Life, as well as classics like the Trusted Advisor by Maister, Green and Galford, you will still learn a lot and be inspired by his creative, yet practical, approach. Each time I turned the page, I found exciting ideas and concepts that I could implement immediately in my business.

Another breakthrough is his approach to creating loyal relationships both at the individual and the firm level. There are dozens of examples of exceptional organizations that have put his principles to work, winning multiple year engagements.

This book will be a valuable resource you will want to read cover to cover, and share with your entire team.
