Way overpriced, short and written in large print, so the book is actually half the length it claims to be. Seriously, for this price, find another book that covers a larger area of NY employment laws. This is volume 1, I guess volume 2 is done in a size 25 font, is 150 pages, and $60.

This should be a $7 book or free with any purchase.

Diane Pfadenhauer has written a gem of a resource for employers doing business in New York. It is a practical, concise “encyclopedia of answers” when it comes to current NY employment law. While useful for anyone doing business in NY, it can be particularly helpful for employers based OUTSIDE of NY who have a NY office. They need to be up to date on how employment laws in NY differ from those in other states. Remember, so much of employment law is state-specific. Every state should be so lucky as to have such an easy to use comprehensive guide like this. It is truly your “one-stop shop” to ensure that you are complying with NY state employment law.
