    This book was advertised as having a CD-ROM with it. It was not included. I emailed the seller about it and have gotten no response. I paid for the book & the CD-ROM and would appreciated getting what I paid for. Also, the book ad stated that it was lightly used, however there are many pen & highlighter markings all throughout the book. All of the answers are marked on the test! Overall, I am greatly dissappointed with this purchase!

    Utilizing these practice exams helped me in preparing for the IBCLC exam. These practice exams helped me narrow my focus on areas I had more trouble with.

    This practice exam was much more difficult than the real exam. Many of the questions are not practical and are poorly worded. If you can perform well on this exam, you will do well on the real exam. The pictures on the CD appear old and many do not even relate well to the question. It caused much frustration to me and 6 of my Lactation Collegues. I hope there is a better choice out there for exam review.

    I find the format very beneficial to the way that I study. Review, review, review with full test formats and short, clear explanations of the correct answers. Very good choice for the test taker with ~1 year to prepare for initial exam or recertification.

    Just to clarify- because the book was not what I expected- The first section is an outline of the content areas of the test with references to readings. There is no actual review information here, just a long list of references for you to go out and find on your own. Very similar information is available on the IBLCE webpage for free. The 2nd part is 3 practice exams, and there is a CD that has pictures that go along with the exam questions (i.e. the question asks about what is in the picture). I was hoping for a review of information, and that’s not what’s in here. But the practice exams are useful.
