Michael Melcher offers a great blend of practical advice and insiprational sight setting. Reading this book will help you “paint” a large picture and figure out your role in it.

The other reviews must have been written by the author’s friends and family. I was really looking forward to receiving this book and gaining some insight on what I should do with my law degree. When I received it and glanced through it, I was very disappointed. This book is way too expensive for the value. For thirty dollars, you will receive a pamphlet-sized book containing the following message: If you are miserable being a lawyer, network and find something else you might want to do.

Michael Melcher has created a wonderful guide for those not quite satisfied with where they are professionally. An accomplished coach and attorney himself, Melcher provides fun exercises to help you figure out what’s next. I am not an attorney but found this book immensely helpful. The stories of personal change and growth are compelling and inspiring. I highly recommend The Creative Lawyer for anyone who wants to lead a more fulfilling professional (and personal!) life.
